Q) Is a 1% share a micro share?
A) NO, as a 1% owner you will be listed as an owner with Racing Australia and entitled to free racecourse entry, free members entry and free mounting yard access on most racedays (feature racedays excluded).
Q) Is prizemoney paid to me?
A) YES, your bank account details are provided and prizemoney is paid to you after each race direct to your account.
Q) Can I get a guest in on raceday with me?
A) YES, every owner is listed with Racing Australia as an owner, which entitles them to bring a guest with them on raceday.
Q) Are the costs listed on each listing inclusive of GST?
A) YES, costs listed are for the purchase of a share, and inclusive of GST.
Q) Will monthly costs apply?
A) YES ownership of a racehorse share includes a monthly fee, for training, vet fees, admin, transport etc. (Please read the PDS on each listing to see what monthly costs are involved).
Q) How much are monthly fees?
A) The monthly fees associated with a 1% share is approx. $50-$60 per month ( Monthly Fees are paid by direct debit only).
Q) Are shares available in increments of 1%?
A) YES, shares can be purchased in increments of 1%. Each listing will apply their own conditions (Please read the PDS on each listing to see what conditions apply).
Q) Will I get my name listed in the racebook as an owner?
A) Generally, if you purchase a minimum 5% share you will be listed as an owner in the racebook. 1% owners will be included in a registered syndicate.
Q) Can I register a syndicate of friends as the owner of the share?
A) YES, you can register a syndicate of friends as the owner of a racehorse share (Contact the Regulatory Body in your state for details ie Racing Victoria, Racing NSW, Racing Queensland, etc)
Q) Does Buyaracehorse.com.au earn a commission on the sale of a racehorse share?
A) NO, buyaracehorse.com.au is an independently owned website, that provides users with unbias and neutral opinions of each racehorse share.
